The first burn is the most important.
When you light your candle for the first time, be sure to wait until the wax has melted evenly over the entire surface of the candle. By making sure that the entire surface has melted before you extinguish your candle, you will prevent tunnels from forming and help your candle last longer.
Burn your candle for 3 to 4 hours in a row.
Even if you want to burn your candle all day, so that it lasts as long as possible (40 to 50 hours), be careful not to burn it for more than 3 to 4 hours in a row. However, if you choose to have it burn longer than that per session, it means you will have to purchase a new candle a little earlier.
Trim your wicks.
