For a transcendent experience ...
1 - Lie down comfortably on your back, and rest your head back so that it is slightly below your shoulders. A good way to accomplish this is to gently hang your head over the edge of your bed, so that the top of your head is pointing slightly downward.
2 - With your head and neck relaxed, drop 3-5 drops of Mind Rise in each nostril. Inhale lightly through your nose to invite the oil to come into contact with your mucous membranes.
3 - Once the oil has deposited in both nostrils, turn your head from side to side to encourage the oil to penetrate deeper.
4 - Use your fingers to gently massage your cheeks, temples, jaw muscles and forehead - feeling how the oil nourishes your tissues. Place your hands over your eyes for a while to calm the nervous system.
5 - Rest for a few minutes. Now is a great time to close your eyes or meditate.
6 - When finished, slowly straighten up. You can blow your nose to remove the oil that has not been absorbed. You can smell it perfectly or taste it in the back of your throat.
Pro tip: Gently heat the oil by running the bottle under hot water, or placing it in a cup of freshly boiled water.
Mind Rise can be used daily. This practice is wonderful in the first hour of the morning or in the middle of the day, and is ideally done on an empty stomach. If you are using a Neti pot, make sure your nose is dry before adding the nasal drops.
